Gulf Petrolium Industries Celebrates Saudi National Day at The Avenues and Al-Nuwaybiss

Al-Siyasa learned that Gulf Petrolium Industries (GPI) signed yesterday a contract with the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University for an advanced training program aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of training and building and developing national competencies working in the oil sector. The contract was signed on behalf of GPI by its Chief Executive Officer, Badr Al-Munif, and on behalf of the College of Engineering and Petroleum by Acting Dean Dr. Adel Hussein Malallah. The signing was witnessed by Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Joint Operations Fahd Salem Al-Kharqawi and Acting Assistant Dean for Planning, Consultations, and Training Dr. Abdulaziz Hussein Falah.
This training program comes within the framework of the company’s continuous commitment to investing in human capital and strengthening strategic partnerships with prestigious academic institutions, thereby contributing to the development of national capabilities, supporting future operational needs, and keeping pace with the oil sector’s aspirations toward sustainable development.
In a related development, Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) marked the 96th Saudi National Day by organizing extensive celebratory events at The Avenues complex and the Al-Nuwaybiss land border crossing, expressing the deep, historic, and entrenched fraternal relations between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

The event at The Avenues complex was attended by the Governor of Ahmadi, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. It featured a program rich in heritage segments, competitions, and gift distributions, with significant interaction from visitors to the mall. The activities also included welcoming Kuwaiti visitors arriving via the Al-Nuwaybiss crossing with hospitality and gifts, underscoring the bonds of brotherhood and strategic partnership in the joint operations areas of Al-Wafra and Al-Khafji.
Mishal Al-Hindi, Director of the Information Technology and Services Group at Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, emphasized that the company’s celebration of the Saudi National Day embodies the deep, historic, and entrenched fraternal relations uniting Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, particularly given their shared history, mutual interests, and strategic ties, which represent an exemplary model of fraternal relations among Gulf states. He noted that cooperation between the two countries covers various fields, with the oil sector being a primary area of strategic cooperation between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. He added that Kuwait Gulf Oil Company takes pride in its role in enhancing joint oil cooperation and working to develop operations and resources in the Divided Zone, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries and serving their mutual interests.
