Indian Embassy Celebrates Ayurveda Day in Kuwait with Over 200 Participants

The Embassy of India in Kuwait celebrated the 11th Ayurveda Day at its premises, with the participation of more than 200 Ayurveda practitioners, wellness experts, representatives from relevant agencies, and members of the Indian community. The event featured lectures, presentations, and an exhibition highlighting Ayurvedic practices and its holistic concept of health.

The program was opened with a video message from Baideya Kotesha, Secretary of India’s Ministry of AYUSH. Paramita Tripathi, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, emphasized the importance of Ayurveda as part of India’s heritage in knowledge and healthcare, noting the growing global interest in it.

The event included two video lectures organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, one of which addressed the role of Ayurveda in managing stress and improving sleep. Rubish Ravi presented on its benefits for overall health, while Dr. Gouri Bhagat spoke about preventive care and the prevention and management of lifestyle-related health issues.

The program also featured a performance combining the art of Kalaripayattu and yoga, alongside an exhibition of products and practices related to Ayurveda and healthy food corners.

The embassy stated that the celebration provided an opportunity to introduce Indian traditions in the fields of health and wellness, and to strengthen communication between the Indian and Kuwaiti peoples.
