Al-Sharai is a candidate for the presidency of the Handball Federation... and the by-elections are on October 4

The deadline for nominations for the by-elections to the board of directors of the Kuwait Handball Association, scheduled to elect a new president and deputy secretary-general following the resignation of former president Fuad Al-Balushi and deputy secretary-general Abdullah Al-Dhiab, closed at 9:00 p.m. today.

Ahmad Al-Sharai, former president of Al-Qarain Club and an engineer, submitted his candidacy for the position of association president. Meanwhile, Falah Manahi Al-Azmi, representing Al-Shabab Club, and Muhammad Al-Khamis, representing Al-Kuwait (Kazma) Club, submitted their candidacies for the position of deputy secretary-general.

The by-elections are scheduled to be held on October 4 at the association’s general assembly meeting to select the occupants of the two positions and complete the formation of the board of directors.
