Communications Minister discusses enhancing cultural and tourism cooperation with Azerbaijan's ambassador

State Minister for Communications and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, met with Emil Karimov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the country, to discuss the bilateral relations between the two nations and ways to enhance cooperation in cultural and tourism fields, contributing to strengthening ties between the two friendly countries and their peoples.

The Ministry of Information stated in a press release on Thursday that the meeting covered several issues of mutual interest and reviewed opportunities to develop cooperation and coordination in cultural and tourism sectors, as well as the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge and enhancing cultural and tourism presence between the two countries.

According to the statement, Minister Al-Omar affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to supporting, developing, and strengthening bilateral relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan and expanding areas of mutual cooperation, reflecting the depth of the relationship between the two friendly nations.
