The Ministry of Education has announced the adoption of uniform standards for selecting accredited trainers to deliver training programs under the "Trainee Teacher" program, based on a mechanism that ensures transparency and fairness, guaranteeing the selection of educational and training competencies according to specific and published professional criteria.
The Ministry emphasized that allowing eligible candidates to apply is part of consolidating the principle of equal opportunity among all applicants, subjecting applications to the same procedures and standards, and avoiding direct selection, so that experience, competence, and professional merit form the basis for evaluation and accreditation.
It clarified that the General Administration for Development and Completion has finalized the technical and organizational preparations to receive registration applications through the Ministry of Education’s website via the "Dal Platform," starting today, Thursday, September 24, until Tuesday, September 29, 2026. All applications will be subject to screening, verification, and validation of documents and compliance with the published requirements.
The Ministry outlined that the eligibility criteria include being a Kuwaiti national, having at least 20 years of professional experience in the educational field, possessing actual teaching experience of no less than 10 years, and having documented training experience in delivering at least 20 training programs.
It added that the conditions require the applicant to have achieved an actual "Excellent" rating in competency reports over the last two years, and that their employment record must be free of disciplinary judgments and penalties during the last three years, unless these have been expunged in accordance with civil service regulations or annulled by a final court judgment. Additionally, applicants must submit a "No Criminal Record" certificate via the "Sahel" application.
Applicants are required to provide a recent resume detailing their academic and training qualifications, accreditations obtained, previously delivered training programs, technical skills, and experience with modern training and teaching methods, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of their expertise according to established standards.
The Ministry stressed that meeting the application requirements does not automatically guarantee accreditation. Approved applications will undergo evaluation according to uniform procedures, followed by personal interviews before a neutral committee comprising experts and specialists, thereby enhancing integrity and objectivity and ensuring equal opportunity among candidates.
It noted that after completing the stages of screening, verification, and personal interviews, those who pass the evaluation according to the prescribed standards will be accredited and listed via "Dal Platform - Trainee Teacher Guide," forming an approved database of qualified competencies to participate in training new teachers.
The Ministry of Education affirmed that this mechanism aligns with its strategy to enhance governance and transparency in selection procedures, unify evaluation standards, and consolidate the principle of equal opportunity, ensuring that the task of preparing and qualifying new teachers is entrusted to educational competencies possessing the necessary field and training experience, contributing to improving program quality and achieving its goals of preparing qualified teachers capable of meeting the demands of the educational field.
