Health Ministry: Over 100 successful aortic valve replacement surgeries at Jaber Hospital

The Ministry of Health announced the successful completion of more than 100 transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedures over 18 months, as part of a comprehensive program for treating structural heart diseases using the latest minimally invasive techniques.

The Ministry explained that the procedures were carried out under the Heart Valve Treatment Program at the Cardiology and Catheterization Unit of Jaber Hospital, in line with efforts to develop specialized services and provide advanced treatment options for patients, thereby reducing the need for surgical intervention, accelerating recovery, and improving therapeutic outcomes.
