Industry Authority: Announcement of the names of establishments winning His Highness the Amir's Industrial Excellence Award on the 28th

The Public Authority for Industry announced on Wednesday that it will reveal the names of the industrial establishments winning the Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence in its seventh edition on Monday, September 28, during a ceremony held under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and guard him.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Authority emphasized Kuwait’s efforts to provide an attractive environment for Kuwaiti industries, enhance factory performance, and motivate citizens working in the industrial sector to launch initiatives and achieve excellence.

It added that the ceremony will be attended, on behalf of the Amir of Kuwait, by Abdulaziz Al-Merzouq, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Industry, along with Shamlan Al-Jahdali, Acting Director General of the Authority, as well as a number of industrialists and officials from Kuwait’s industrial sector.

The Authority clarified that the ceremony will include the screening of a documentary film about Kuwaiti industry and factories, followed by an awards ceremony honoring the winning establishments, the judging panel, and other participants.

It noted that the Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence was launched in 2002 and has achieved success over its previous six editions. The award aims to promote a culture of excellence in institutional performance, foster competition among Kuwaiti industrial establishments, and familiarize them with administrative and technological developments.

Furthermore, the award encourages industrial institutions to measure their current performance against global best practices, adopt a policy of continuous improvement, and support national products.
