'Health' to Host 7 International Doctors in October

The Ministry of Health announced that it will host seven doctors with global expertise in various subspecialties as part of the “Visiting Physicians” program in October 2026, at Al-Razi, Jabir, Al-Babtain, Ibn Sina, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals.

The list of visiting physicians includes Dr. Jamal Ali Al-Asiri from Saudi Arabia, a specialist in foot and ankle orthopedic surgery, at Al-Razi Hospital from October 4 to 8; and Dr. Paris Tarkir from the United Kingdom, a specialist in robotic colon and rectal surgeries, at Jabir Hospital from October 10 to 13.

The Ministry will also host Dr. Nicholas Johannes Wchner from Germany, a specialist in arthroscopic orthopedic deformity surgery, at Al-Razi Hospital from October 10 to 14, and Dr. Raed Rida Mustafa Abu Hussein from Germany, a specialist in spinal endoscopy, at the same hospital from October 11 to 15.

Dr. Mostafa Hamdy from Belgium will visit Al-Babtain Hospital from October 20 to 25, specializing in plastic and burn surgery. Meanwhile, Ibn Sina Hospital will host Dr. John Pyo Hong from South Korea from October 24 to 28, a specialist in microsurgery, plastic surgery, and lymphedema.

The month’s program will conclude with the hosting of Dr. Omar Adel Rahim from the United States, a specialist in urological surgery, at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital from October 28 to 31.

The Ministry clarified that the list of visiting physicians and advance appointment booking are available through the “Salim” app and the unified government “Sahl” app.
