Trump: Witkoff and Kushner’s meeting with the Iranian delegation lasted 3 hours and was “extremely productive”

U.S. President Donald Trump said that U.S. officials held a meeting with the Iranian delegation that lasted about three hours, describing the encounter as “very productive.” He clarified that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were present at the meeting with the Iranian side.

Trump added that Iran wants to speak with the United States and that it had made contact with Washington today, expressing his belief that a settlement with Tehran will be reached.

He affirmed that the United States is united in its stance against Iran possessing nuclear weapons.

On the economic front, Trump predicted that prices would drop significantly once the war ends, noting that oil prices would be among the most prominent to decline.

Earlier, Trump had stated in a previous remark that a U.S. official held a three-hour meeting with the Iranian delegation, which was productive. He emphasized that it is in Iran’s interest to reach an agreement and that it faces two options, one of which he described as “very bad.”
