The Al-Najah Charity Association has launched the “Wain Anas 2” project under the slogan “Hesbat Ayalikum” (Your Children’s Account), aimed at supporting 250 students of knowledge within Kuwait, including orphans, children from low-income families, the sick, the poor, and other deserving students. This initiative is part of the association’s efforts to support education, protect students from dropping out, and open up better future prospects for them.
Abdulghafour Bader Al-Abdulghafour, Director of Resources at Al-Najah Charity Association, stated that the “Wain Anas 2” project is a continuation of the association’s efforts to support students of knowledge who cannot afford educational costs. He emphasized that education is one of the most important pillars of empowerment and human development, and that assisting a student today contributes to shaping an individual capable of serving himself, his family, and his community in the future.
The association pays tuition fees for eligible students in several private schools within Kuwait, covering various stages of basic education. He noted the association’s commitment to documenting assistance and sending reports to donors, while respecting the privacy of students and beneficiary families and preserving their dignity.
Al-Abdulghafour explained that beneficiaries are selected through a precise and transparent mechanism in cooperation with official authorities. The association receives assistance applications submitted via the Ministry of Social Affairs’ assistance platform, then reviews cases to verify eligibility, confirm the student’s continued enrollment, and ensure registration in school, with special attention given to academically outstanding students from low-income backgrounds.
He stressed that the importance of the “Wain Anas 2” project extends beyond paying tuition fees; it aims to protect students from dropping out of education and provides them with a real opportunity to continue their studies and build their futures. He clarified that sponsoring a student alleviates financial burdens on their family and provides the stability needed to help them focus on their academic pursuits.
He added that the project’s impact extends beyond the student and his family to society as a whole, by keeping 250 students in school, contributing to building a better future for them and their families, enhancing social solidarity, mitigating the effects of poverty and need, and preparing useful scientific talents capable of participating in societal development and serving the nation.
Al-Abdulghafour called on philanthropists and benefactors to take the initiative to contribute to the project, emphasizing that donating to education is an investment in human capital, and that sponsoring a student of knowledge can be the catalyst for changing their life and opening wide horizons for them to achieve their aspirations.
He said, “When you sponsor a student today, you are not just paying tuition fees; you are helping to build their future, protecting them from dropping out of education, and giving them the opportunity to become a beneficial person for their family and society tomorrow.”
He noted that support for the project is available by contacting the call center or WhatsApp service at 1800082, or through the association’s social media accounts.
He urged philanthropists to seize the opportunity to participate in the project according to their means, emphasizing that contributions, regardless of their value, can make a significant impact through collective effort.
