The Inspection Department of Al-Jahra Governorate, under the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, conducted periodic inspection campaigns at several warehouses and factories in the governorate to ensure compliance with approved laws, regulations, and health requirements.
The inspection rounds resulted in the seizure of several violations, the most prominent of which were the display and marketing of food products unfit for human consumption, operating and managing a food facility before obtaining the necessary license from the Authority, and failure to adhere to health requirements.
The Authority affirmed its continued periodic and regular supervisory rounds, as well as its taking of necessary legal action against violators, thereby contributing to the preservation of consumers’ health and safety.
