Spirit of the Nation
The Nation, Then the Nation, Then the Citizen
There is no doubt that this is a crime against this “vegetative spirit,” which its doctors (the Public Works Authority and the Environment Public Authority) watch passively without intervening to treat it, before the remainder of it enters the intensive care unit, to save it in case the prescription (water) is administered quickly twice a day, with continuous monitoring by its doctors to restore its health and preserve its freshness and beauty, even if its doctors delegate one of the medical centers (private companies) to complete its treatment under their supervision.
They monitor the center’s officials out of fear that they might neglect it, which has caused the loss of some of its parts. The sight of plants in the middle islands of main streets, beside traffic lights, and on bridges now pains visitors as they pass by after leaving their homes and returning to them.
Therefore, we urge the Consultant Professor to order his doctors to provide the medicine (money) and extend the duration of the prescription (water) to sustain the life of that vegetative spirit before it disappears entirely.
Conclusion:
The first impression of state guests and visitors is the cleanliness of the country and the beauty of its plantings.
Undoubtedly, attention to ornamental plantings is part of the government’s reform plan. However, the eyes of the Public Works and Environment Authority officials, and the lack of coordination between them, have prevented them from seeing what citizens see: the decay and neglect of plantings. Perhaps this observation will open their eyes and remove the blinders that deceive them into believing that “the fish is sherbet.” Any official who truly seeks to serve the national interest, rather than merely claiming to do so, should care for the beauty and cleanliness of the country before caring for the beauty and cleanliness of his own home or office.
“We live in a time:
If they hear good about you, they conceal it;
If they hear bad about you, they spread it;
And if they hear nothing about you, they fabricate it.”
“Enjoy yourself, for the nights will pass;
Do not let the twists of life distress you.
Worrying does not help the burdened soul;
The winner is the one who turns his back on the world.”
O God, protect Kuwait, its people, and its leadership from all evil and harm.
