Education Ministry honors 48 teachers for excellence in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran

- Al-Khalidi: Supporting Quranic initiatives reinforces authentic values and enriches the educational environment

Mohammed Al-Khalidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Education, emphasized on Saturday the importance of strengthening religious and educational values and consolidating the status of the Book of God in the hearts of those working in the educational field. He commended the efforts of the participants and the role of the competition in encouraging educational staff to continue memorizing and reciting the Quran.

He made these remarks in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the eighth edition of the “Abdullah Al-Mutawa” Competition for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran, organized by the Al-Mutayazin Foundation under the patronage of Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai. The event honored 48 male and female teachers in recognition of their participation and efforts in the competition.

Al-Khalidi also appreciated the Ministry of Education’s commitment to supporting Quranic initiatives and recognizing the efforts of educational staff in areas that contribute to nurturing faith and moral dimensions. He affirmed the ministry’s dedication to continuing its support for programs that reinforce authentic values and enrich the educational environment.

It is worth noting that the “Abdullah Al-Mutawa” Competition for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Quran was launched in 2018 in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, with the aim of encouraging male and female teachers to memorize and recite the Book of God and to enhance the presence of the Holy Quran in the educational field.
