Mubarak Al-Kabir Governorate Participates in 'World Cleanup Day 2026' and Strengthens Environmental Initiatives

Mubarak Al-Kabir Governorate participated on Saturday in the “World Cleanup Day 2026” activities, held in the Sabah Al-Salem district, Plot 1, under the patronage of Mubarak Al-Kabir Governor Sheikh Sabah Badr Al-Sabah, and in cooperation with the “Kafu” platform.

The event saw the participation of several government entities, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, and a number of volunteer teams, with the Governor represented by the Director General of the Mubarak Al-Kabir Governorate Security Directorate, Colonel Sulaiman Ahmad Al-Jarrah.

The activities included the “Planting the Impact” initiative at the Sabah Al-Salem Foundation, which contributed to adding green space and raising awareness of the importance of environmental conservation and leaving a positive, sustainable impact.
