Saudi Arabia: Early warning issued in Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, AlUla, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Abha

Saudi Civil Defense announced today the activation of an alert via the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations in the provinces of Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, AlUla, and Khamis Mushait, as well as in the Jazan region and the city of Abha, to warn of the danger.

Civil Defense urged the public to follow official guidelines and instructions, remain calm, and immediately proceed to the nearest safe location. It advised against leaving homes or buildings until the danger has passed, staying away from open areas, glass, balconies, and rooftops, and avoiding gatherings, photography, and hazardous sites.
