Kuwait to Host 'Global Summit of Innovative Lawyers' with Participation from Over 50 Countries
Al-Suifan: The largest conference of its kind discusses artificial intelligence, digital justice, and the future of the legal profession
Dr. Khalid Al-Suifan, Secretary General of the Kuwait Bar Association, confirmed that the Association is preparing to organize the Second Kuwaiti Legal Conference under the slogan “Innovative Lawyers Global Summit,” on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Courtyard Marriott – Al-Raya Hall. The event is set to become the largest legal conference of its kind in terms of international participation and specialized legal and technical expertise.

Al-Suifan explained that the conference aligns with the Association’s vision to develop the legal profession and keep pace with the rapid transformations occurring in the global legal sector, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, legal technology, digital justice, electronic arbitration, cybersecurity, and the development of legal research and drafting tools.
He added that the coming phase requires preparing lawyers capable of leveraging future tools and technology while maintaining the independence of the profession, its ethical standards, and the confidentiality of the attorney-client relationship. He noted that the conference will bring together participants from more than 50 countries, alongside a distinguished group of speakers, specialists, and legal and technological entities.
Al-Suifan stated: “We aim for the Kuwaiti Legal Conference to serve as an international platform launching from Kuwait to discuss and shape the future of the profession, amid the world’s rapid transformation in legal work tools, litigation methods, and legal services.”
He emphasized that the conference represents an extension of the “Lawyer Vision 2028” initiatives and reflects the role of the Kuwait Bar Association in enhancing the professional and legal environment and strengthening Kuwait’s presence on the map of international legal conferences.
