Interior Ministry: Bangladeshi suspect arrested in drug trafficking case with 800 narcotic tablets in his possession

The Criminal Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate for Anti-Narcotics – International Counter-Narcotics Department, apprehended a suspect of Bangladeshi nationality in a case involving the trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Interior revealed that the operation resulted in the seizure of the following:

• 800 sheets soaked with the chemical substance

• 2 liquid ampoules of the chemical substance

• 2 precision scales

The statement clarified that the seized items were in the possession of the suspect with the intent to traffic and consume them.

The statement added that the suspect and the seized items were referred to the competent authority to take the necessary legal action against him.
