Heavy turnout and long queues at Apple stores as iPhone 18 launches

The launch of the "iPhone 18 Pro" and "iPhone 18 Pro Max" on Friday saw widespread demand, coinciding with the start of sales in more than 65 countries and regions worldwide.

According to media reports, Apple stores experienced long lines and crowds, with buyers arriving in the early hours, while some spent the night outside the stores to secure the two phones as soon as they were released.

Apple had opened pre-orders for the two devices on September 12, ahead of the official start of sales today.
