The ministry had included the project in its contracts listed in its financial year plan, and therefore submitted it through the Central Tenders Bureau, as it relates to the bridge, which is one of the major development projects and one of the largest transportation and infrastructure projects in the entire region. It also serves as the link between the capital and Al-Salimiyah, which will become a fully integrated city capable of accommodating more than 750,000 residents in the future.
