Al-Najda: 133 wanted individuals apprehended, 15 referred to the Anti-Narcotics Department

- 2,530 security operations carried out in one week

The General Directorate of Emergency Police continues its security and traffic efforts across various governorates, as part of its field plans aimed at enhancing security, improving traffic safety, and accelerating response to incidents and reports.

During the period from 6 to 12 September of the current month, these efforts resulted in the execution of 2,530 security operations, the detection of 1,635 traffic violations, the handling of 174 traffic accidents, and the provision of 1,135 humanitarian assistance cases. Additionally, 133 individuals wanted by relevant authorities were apprehended, along with 85 individuals whose residency permits had expired, 36 individuals without official identification, and 4 wanted vehicles were seized.

Furthermore, 687 status verification cases were handled, and 15 suspects were apprehended and referred to the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics.

The General Directorate of Emergency Police affirms its continued security and traffic deployment, and its ongoing efforts to apprehend violators and wanted individuals, and to enhance the safety and security of road users.
