Kuwait condemns Houthi militia's targeting of Taif: a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty and a breach of international law
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia’s targeting of the Taif Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a drone. The interception of the drone resulted in the scattering of debris, causing the death of one person, injuries to two others, and material damage.
The Ministry affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
It emphasized Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside the Kingdom, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its citizens and residents.
The Ministry also extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
