Oman condemns the targeting of Makkah and affirms its solidarity with Saudi Arabia

- Complete rejection of any violation of the sanctity of holy sites and the safety of pilgrims... and a call to intensify regional cooperation

The Sultanate of Oman expressed, on Thursday, its strong condemnation and denunciation of the "criminal, sinful, and treacherous" targeting of the Holy Makkah, affirming its complete rejection of any infringement upon the sanctity of holy sites and the safety of pilgrims.

In a statement, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Sultanate reaffirms its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it is taking to protect its security, stability, and sovereignty.

The statement called on regional countries to intensify cooperation and solidarity among themselves to address various outstanding issues, whether bilateral, regional, or multilateral, in a manner that guarantees the rights of all to security, stability, and a safe and dignified life.
