Institute of Communications and Navigation organizes aptitude test for maritime pilot program applicants at Kuwait Ports

The Higher Institute of Communications and Navigation at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training organized an aptitude test for applicants seeking to join the Maritime Pilotage Program, on behalf of the Kuwait Ports Authority, as part of joint cooperation efforts to prepare and qualify specialized national cadres for the maritime sector.

The test aims to assess applicants’ capabilities and their suitability for the program, paving the way for their preparation and qualification according to the professional and specialized requirements necessary for work in maritime pilotage.

The Director of the Higher Institute of Communications and Navigation, Eng. Mahnaz Hassan Qabazard, stated that the implementation of the program reflects the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training’s, represented by the Institute, commitment to strengthening its partnerships with labor market entities, aligning training programs with the actual needs of vital sectors in the State of Kuwait, developing specialized programs, and providing a specialized training environment that contributes to preparing national cadres capable of supporting the country’s development journey and serving Kuwait.

She noted that the maritime sector is among the important fields requiring national cadres with high technical and specialized qualifications.
