Three, with no mental illness following
Swimming, horseback riding, and shooting—these three skills are free from psychological harms. I do not believe that children who learn them in their early years will face future misery. Because most, if not all, unhappiness stems from early intimidation and the repeated imposition of prohibitions on individuals by the majority of behaviors, which traps them in fears that exist only in their minds.
I was not surprised by the recovery of a child suffering from severe autism after he began horseback riding, nor by the good mental health of others who acquired swimming skills and enjoyed using firearms at specialized institutions licensed for such commercial activities.
