Gulf Land Forces Chiefs Discuss Enhancing Combat Readiness and Strengthening Defense Integration

The 24th meeting of the Chiefs of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states concluded in Bahrain on Wednesday, following discussions on enhancing joint military operations to address emerging challenges.

According to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the meeting was attended by the Chiefs of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the GCC member states, Lieutenant General Salman Al-Fadala, Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the GCC General Secretariat, and Lieutenant General Abdulaziz Al-Balawi, Commander of the GCC Unified Military Command.

During the session, participants discussed a range of issues related to joint GCC military operations involving the ground forces of the member states’ armed forces. The discussions aimed to develop these forces, continue improving their systems, enhance their efficiency and combat readiness, and achieve defensive integration among GCC countries to effectively address various challenges.
