“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs”: Disgraceful aggressive behavior, unacceptable disregard for civilian lives, and a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty
Qatar has strongly condemned the Houthi militia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians in the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Ta’if, using ballistic missiles and drones. These attacks resulted in injuries to several civilians and caused material damage to residential homes and vehicles.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these attacks constitute disgraceful aggressive behavior, an unacceptable disregard for civilian lives, a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a clear breach of international law.
The Ministry stressed Qatar’s unequivocal rejection of attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians, reiterating the urgent need for an immediate halt to these irresponsible acts.
The Ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for the Kingdom in all lawful measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests. It underscored that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the State of Qatar and of the collective security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The Ministry expressed Qatar’s sincere wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured, praying to Almighty God to protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people from all harm.
