'Coalition': 13 civilians injured in Houthi terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia

- The attacks targeted Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Ta’if... seven homes and two vehicles were damaged

- Al-Maliki: Operational measures to deter the militia and protect civilians and civilian property

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen confirmed on Monday that the “Houthi terrorist militia” continues its heinous and deliberate attacks on civilian objects and civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the Coalition forces’ official spokesperson, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that “the continuation of these deliberate and repeated attacks demonstrates the Houthi terrorist militia’s approach and extremist ideology of escalation and targeting civilian objects and civilians.”

Al-Maliki clarified that the militia “carried out attacks on civilian objects toward the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Ta’if using several ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in the injury of 13 civilians with minor and moderate injuries, and damaging seven residential homes and two vehicles.”

He stressed that “the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will respond to these attacks with responsibility and firmness to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom and its civilian objects and civilians from these heinous attacks, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter, the principle of self-defense, international humanitarian law, and its customary rules.”

He added that “the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will take all necessary operational measures to deter the Houthi militia and confront its hostile and extremist approach.”
