The project “With the Amir in Our Hearts” embodied the feelings of loyalty and love held by the people of Kuwait for His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, through words and gestures emerging from Kuwaiti diwaniyas. These expressions underscored the deep relationship between the leadership and the people, as well as Kuwaitis’ commitment to societal unity, state stability, and the rule of law.

These messages emerged during meetings that brought together project organizers with a number of governors and diwaniya figures, who affirmed that the project transcends being merely the title of an initiative; rather, it expresses entrenched national sentiments and an authentic Kuwaiti heritage of loyalty to the leadership and rallying around it.

Governor of Al-Jahra: A sincere expression of Kuwaiti loyalty

Governor of Al-Jahra, Hamad Al-Habashi, affirmed that the project embodies the feelings of loyalty and love that the people of Kuwait hold for His Highness the Amir. He noted that the words and gestures witnessed in Kuwaiti diwaniyas reflect a sincere national sentiment toward the stability, reforms, and reinforcement of the state’s authority currently witnessed in the country.

Speaking during a meeting with the project’s initiator, Dalal Al-Saif, Al-Habashi stated that the project “With the Amir in Our Hearts” is not just a title, but a national condition expressed by Kuwaiti diwaniyas, which have united in appreciating the Amir’s efforts to restore the state’s authority, correct the course, and enhance the role of law and institutions, placing Kuwait’s and its people’s interests above all else. He added that Kuwaitis, across all their segments and regions, recognize the magnitude of the responsibility borne by His Highness the Amir during a delicate phase, and they appreciate decisions aimed at protecting the state, safeguarding its assets, and enhancing its security and stability. He pointed out that the relationship between the people and their leadership is not tied to a specific occasion or slogan, but is an authentic bond of loyalty, love, and fidelity inherited by Kuwaitis from generation to generation, with the Al Sabah family remaining an integral part of the community’s consciousness and history.

The governor emphasized that Kuwaiti diwaniyas have been and will remain a voice for society and a space for expressing its aspirations. He noted that what is echoed there today reflects popular appreciation for reform steps and a longing for a stage characterized by stability, development, and the protection of the nation’s gains. He concluded by affirming that the people of Kuwait keep their Amir and Kuwait in their hearts, offering the highest expressions of loyalty and love to His Highness, and praying to God to protect Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and to perpetuate security and stability upon them.

Governor of Farwaniya: The project renews the pledge that Kuwait comes first

Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Adabi Al-Nasser, affirmed that the project and the words and gestures carried by Kuwaiti diwaniyas embody feelings of loyalty, love, and allegiance to His Highness the Amir. He noted that these sentiments are not the product of a specific occasion, but rather an extension of a solid relationship between the people of Kuwait and their leadership dating back generations.

Speaking during a meeting with the project coordinator, Ahmed Al-Raish, and the initiators Dalal Al-Saif and Maram Al-Saif, he stated that the stability and confidence in the future witnessed in Kuwait are the fruit of an approach based on reinforcing the state’s authority, elevating the status of the law, enhancing the role of its institutions, and placing national interests above all else. He added that His Highness the Amir has shouldered a significant national responsibility since assuming power, aimed at returning the state to its correct path, safeguarding its assets and institutions, and consolidating the concept of a state where the law is above everyone.

He clarified that the words expressed in diwaniyas within the project confirm that the people of Kuwait view wise leadership as a safety valve for the nation, and that what unites them with the Al Sabah family is a long history of love, loyalty, and national cohesion.

He affirmed that his participation in this national initiative reflects the love and loyalty of Kuwaitis toward their leadership, and serves as a reaffirmation of the pledge that Kuwait comes first, with its service and its people remaining a responsibility, duty, and honor.

He emphasized the importance of preserving unity, rallying around the leadership, and reinforcing values of responsibility and adherence to the law, praying to God to protect the Amir of Kuwait, the country, and its people, and to perpetuate peace, stability, and prosperity upon them.

Al-Muajjal: Diwaniyas: “The Words of the People of Kuwait… Our Amir is in Our Hearts”

The Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Diwaniyas and Chairman of the Kuwaiti Diwaniyas Gathering, Major General Fahd Al-Muajjal (“Abu Feisal”), affirmed that the project was launched to convey a sincere message from the Kuwaiti diwaniyas and their people, reflecting the feelings of love and loyalty that Kuwaitis hold for the Amir of Kuwait.

Speaking during a meeting with the project coordinator Fahd Al-Raish, the idea’s originator Dalal Al-Saif, and Sara Al-Kharji, Al-Muajjal said: “The people of Kuwait do not need a special occasion to express what is in their hearts. Love for the leadership and loyalty to it have been inherited from our fathers and forefathers. However, the ‘Our Amir is in Our Hearts’ project gave these sentiments a title, allowing the Kuwaiti diwaniyas to speak with one voice: ‘Our Amir is in our hearts, and Kuwait is in our hearts.’”

He added that the Amir is known for his closeness to the people of Kuwait, his commitment to engaging with them, and his willingness to listen to their opinions, noting that this approach has been consistent since he was Crown Prince and has continued since he ascended to the throne.

He clarified that the Kuwaiti diwaniya is not merely a place for gatherings, but an integral part of the social fabric, serving as a meeting point for Kuwaitis, a school for dialogue and consultation, and a space for fostering patriotism.

He stated: “Our diwaniya does not belong solely to its owner; it belongs to the people of Kuwait. Anyone who enters the diwaniya enters an open Kuwaiti home, where they can hear opinions and share their own, learn from the elders, and benefit from their wisdom.”

He pointed out that the Al-Muajjal diwaniya, established in 1938, represents a part of Kuwait’s memory. Its relationship with the nation and its leadership dates back to the era of the late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, may God have mercy on him. It has remained a witness to the country’s stages and transformations, serving as a place where people gather in love, consultation, and service to the nation.

Al-Muajjal affirmed that Kuwait’s strength lies in the unity of its people and their rallying around their leadership, saying: “Kuwait gains strength only through its people, and the strength of the people of Kuwait lies in their unity and their solidarity with their leadership. This is a blessing that must be preserved and passed down to our children.”
