Saudi Arabia: Early warning system activated in Najran to alert of danger

Saudi Civil Defense announced today that the danger has passed in the Najran region.

It urged the public to continue following Civil Defense instructions, to completely avoid gathering and taking photographs, and to call the emergency number (998) in case of emergencies.

Earlier, Saudi Civil Defense had announced the activation of an alert via the National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies in the Najran region to warn of the danger.

Civil Defense called for adherence to official guidelines and instructions, maintaining calm, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location. It advised against leaving homes or buildings until the danger has passed, staying away from open areas, glass, balconies, and rooftops, and avoiding gatherings, photography, and hazardous sites.
