Health Ministry: Registration Open to Join Medical Services Team for Hajj Mission
The Ministry of Health announced the opening of registration for qualified medical and technical personnel to join the medical services team of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission for the 1448 AH season, to participate in providing comprehensive healthcare to the Guests of Allah.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that the required categories include doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and emergency medical technicians. It stipulated that applicants must be Kuwaiti nationals and possess sufficient physical and health fitness to perform their duties throughout the mission period, including performing religious rituals and field movements. Priority will be given to those who have not previously participated in Kuwaiti Hajj medical missions.
The Ministry clarified that the requirements for doctors include a job title of no less than "Senior Registrar," with a specialization in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Practice. Applicants must be actively engaged in clinical practice and must not have been part of the administrative or supervisory structure for at least two consecutive years as of the application date.
It further specified that nursing applicants must hold an academic qualification of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, along with practical experience of no less than five years in intensive care, cardiac care, emergency, internal medicine, or surgery. Pharmacists are required to have at least two years of experience in the field of pharmacy.
Additionally, emergency medical technicians must have at least five years of practical experience and hold the "Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic)" certification.
The Ministry noted that the deadline for submitting applications is the end of the working day on September 20, 2026, with registration to be conducted via the dedicated link.
