'Ministry of Public Works': Road closures and diversions on the Fifth Ring Road and King Fahd Road for 5 days

The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, announced the closure of the road shoulder, the slow lane, and half of the middle lane, as well as the closure of the entrance and exit from the Fifth Ring Road to King Fahd Road (40), and from King Fahd Road to the Fifth Ring Road, for a period of five days. The closures will take effect from 10:00 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, until 6:00 AM on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to carry out asphalt maintenance works.

The Ministry clarified that the works include the closure of the bridge heading from King Fahd Road to the Fifth Ring Road in the direction of Salmiya, as well as the closure of the slow lane on the Fifth Ring Road and the side road coming from and heading towards King Fahd Road.
