'Interior Ministry': 16 fugitives and violators arrested, 500 kg of spoiled fish seized in Ahmadi

The Directorates of Security Affairs sector, represented by the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate, carried out a joint security operation covering the fish and vegetable market and the parking areas of the Kuwait Complex, in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the Public Authority for Manpower.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation resulted in the apprehension of 16 wanted individuals and violators, as well as 22 persons lacking identification documents, alongside the seizure of five vehicles wanted by the judiciary and the issuance of 28 traffic violations.

It further added that the operation led to the seizure of 500 kilograms of spoiled fish, noting that the relevant authorities have taken the necessary legal measures against those apprehended and those found in violation, each within its respective jurisdiction.
