'Interior': 13 suspects arrested in 10 drug cases

Among them was a woman... in possession of methamphetamine, cannabis, cocaine, psychoactive substances, weapons, and ammunition

The General Administration for Combating Narcotics arrested 13 suspects, including a woman, in 10 separate cases, with quantities of narcotics and psychoactive substances, along with weapons, ammunition, and cash, as part of continuous security efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend dealers.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the arrests were the result of efforts by the Local Combating Department, the International Combating Department, and the Operations Department, and involved cases of possessing narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume.

The seized items included 4 kilograms and 480 grams of methamphetamine, 4 kilograms and 872 grams of cannabis, 3 grams of cocaine, 14,500 capsules of Lariqa, 590 tablets of psychoactive substances, and 100 tablets of Captagon.

The seizures also included 99 sheets of A4 paper saturated with Khat chemical, 10 ampoules of Khat chemical, 280 milliliters of cannabis oil, 40 pieces of candy containing cannabis, in addition to three “Shozan” hunting rifles and a large quantity of ammunition, 10 sensitive scales, and quantities of empty bags prepared for packaging, along with cash totaling 12,155 Kuwaiti dinars.

The suspects and seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
