'Ta'rif bil-Islam' Launches the Fifth Edition of Its Cultural Competition for Converts

Al-Shaige: Competition in 9 languages, registration ongoing until September 20

The Da’wah Committee of the Al-Najah Charity Association has launched the fifth edition of its electronic cultural competition, specifically designed for new converts from various non-Arab nationalities. The initiative aims to enhance their knowledge and reinforce Islamic concepts in an accessible manner and in their own languages.

Dr. Waleed Al-Shaige, a member of the Committee’s Board of Trustees, stated that the competition is part of the continuous efforts made by the Da’wah Committee to spread cultural and Islamic scholarly knowledge among new converts, and to strengthen their understanding of the principles of the noble religion.

Al-Shaige clarified that the fifth edition centers on a subject titled “The Meaning and Word of Tawhid (Monotheism),” which has been translated into nine languages and is excerpted from the book “This Is My Way.”

Regarding the participation mechanism, he noted that the Committee has provided an electronic link in several languages containing the educational material. Participants can review its content and then answer questions related to it.

He pointed out that registration remains open until September 20, urging new converts of various nationalities to take advantage of the remaining period and participate.

Al-Shaige emphasized the Committee’s commitment to making the educational material and questions available in multiple languages, accommodating the diverse nationalities of participants and contributing to a clear and simplified understanding and reinforcement of the concept of Tawhid among them.
