Kuwait University Welcomes 44,345 Students as Academic Year Begins Tomorrow
Kuwait University will welcome 44,345 students tomorrow, Sunday, as the 2026/2027 academic year begins, including 8,409 new students distributed across 15 colleges in various scientific and literary disciplines.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the university announced that it has completed its preparations to receive students, academic faculty, supporting academic staff, and administrative personnel, ensuring the continuity of the educational process from the first day of the semester.
The university clarified that it has finished equipping campus facilities, including buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and parking areas, alongside deploying the necessary administrative, technical, and service resources to provide a suitable and safe academic environment that supports the educational process.
University administration emphasized its commitment to integrating efforts and enhancing readiness across all university sectors, contributing to providing an appropriate environment for students and enabling the university to continue fulfilling its scientific and educational mission efficiently.
