'Ministry of Education': Military uniform directive in one school was an individual act... the incident is under investigation

The Ministry of Education clarified that reports circulating on social media regarding a school administration issuing instructions to parents to wear military uniforms when visiting the school constitute an individual act that does not reflect a policy or decision issued by the Ministry.
The Ministry emphasized that the Comprehensive Regulatory Framework for Education is the official reference governing operations in schools, stressing the necessity for all school administrations to adhere strictly to its provisions, as well as to official decisions and circulars issued by the Ministry. It warned against establishing any new regulations or instructions individually without consulting the competent authorities.

The Ministry stated that, under the directives of Minister of Education Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabai, it has initiated the necessary administrative and legal measures regarding the incident. The concerned school administration was ordered to immediately remove the post, and the matter was referred to an administrative investigation to ascertain the circumstances and hold those responsible accountable in accordance with prevailing systems and regulations.
The Ministry of Education expressed its pride and appreciation for members of military and security agencies, commending their national role and the sincere efforts they contribute to serving the State of Kuwait and safeguarding its security and stability.
The Ministry reiterated to all school administrations the imperative to comply with the Comprehensive Regulatory Framework for Education, official decisions and circulars, and the frameworks and regulations governing school operations, prohibiting any individual initiatives or issuance of instructions and regulations without referring to the competent authorities within the Ministry.
