Ministry of Food: 108 kg of spoiled food destroyed and violations seized in Kuwait City and Al Farwaniyah
Supervisory efforts carried out by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition to protect consumer health and safety resulted in the seizure of several violations in the Capital and Farwaniya governorates.
The inspection department in the Capital Governorate seized food items unfit for human consumption and spoiled, with their natural properties altered in terms of color, shape, and odor, alongside the circulation of a food product that was adulterated and lacked a nutritional label. Additionally, there was a failure to comply with general health requirements for food establishments and general hygiene rules during operations.

The Authority also destroyed food items unfit for human consumption and adulterated, with a total weight of 108.040 kilograms.
In Farwaniya Governorate, an inspection round by the Authority led to the issuance of a violation report against a facility engaged in the sale and distribution of food products without a health license, as well as the circulation of food items without health certificates.
