Presidents of the UAE and Germany Discuss Strengthening Political and Economic Partnership

The Emirati President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held talks with his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on Thursday, discussing ways to enhance and elevate the political and economic partnership between the two countries to a new level.

The Federal Chancellery stated in a press release that the German President received his Emirati guest, who arrived in Berlin on Thursday for a two-day state visit, with official and military ceremonial honors.

The statement added that both sides are scheduled to hold a series of meetings, while the German President will host an official dinner in honor of the Emirati guest in the evening.

According to the visit program issued by the German government, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during the visit, with several agreements expected to be signed between the two countries.

Berlin and Abu Dhabi had previously affirmed their desire to expand cooperation and deepen bilateral relations ahead of the visit.
