Egypt condemns repeated Israeli occupation incursions into Syrian territory: a blatant violation of sovereignty
Egypt today, Thursday, strongly condemned the repeated incursions by the Israeli occupation into Syrian territory, deeming them a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and the integrity and territorial unity of the state, as well as a clear breach of international law provisions.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed Egypt’s complete rejection of all violations and incursions by the Israeli occupation into Syrian territory, warning that the continuation of these escalatory practices would exacerbate tensions and undermine security and stability in the region.
It reiterated its full solidarity with Syria and its support for its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, emphasizing the necessity of the occupation’s withdrawal from occupied Syrian lands and compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
