Syria: 14 killed and 11 injured in explosion at weapons depot and war remnants in Idlib countryside
Fourteen people were killed and 11 others injured today in an explosion at a temporary warehouse designated for collecting weapons and war remnants near the town of Sarmada in the countryside of northern Idlib, marking the second incident of its kind in roughly ten days.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Ministry of Defense’s Media and Communications Directorate reported that the explosion occurred in a temporary storage facility intended for gathering weapons and war remnants prior to their transfer, resulting in casualties and injuries among ministry personnel.
