Civil Aviation participates in the second edition of the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition in Alamein City
The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), chaired by Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, participated in the second edition of the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition 2026, hosted in the city of Alamein, Egypt, from September 7 to 10.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Authority noted that its participation in this international event underscored Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening its presence and active engagement in specialized international forums focused on the civil aviation and space sectors. It also highlighted the use of international platforms to exchange expertise and stay abreast of the latest technologies, innovations, and developments in the sector globally.
The statement clarified that the exhibition’s opening ceremony was attended by high-level dignitaries, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, alongside several ministers, senior officials, and representatives of government and international entities. This reflected the event’s growing stature and its importance as an international platform bringing together key decision-makers and specialists in the aviation and space sectors.
The second edition of the exhibition features broad participation, with 50 countries and 250 exhibitors taking part. The event showcases 100 aircraft and 50 air displays, attracting 12,000 visitors and participants representing local, regional, and international organizations and companies, including major global firms specializing in civil aviation, space, technology, defense, and related sector services. This provides a significant opportunity to exchange views and expertise and to showcase the latest solutions and technologies.
The KCAA affirmed that its participation yielded positive results by enhancing communication with various international bodies, organizations, and companies specializing in the field, exploring cooperation and partnership opportunities, and gaining insights into the latest global practices and experiences across different areas of civil aviation.
It noted that the participation offered a valuable opportunity to learn about recent developments in aviation safety and security, airport and infrastructure development, digital transformation, sustainability and innovation, modern technologies, and air services, keeping pace with the rapid advancements occurring in the global aviation sector.
The Authority emphasized that its participation in the second edition of the exhibition aligns with its strategy to strengthen international partnerships and exchange knowledge and expertise, while continuing to keep abreast of the latest global developments and standards in civil aviation. This contributes to supporting development plans and enhancing the level of services and operations in Kuwait.
The KCAA expressed its anticipation to build on the outcomes of this participation and enhance cooperation with various international and regional entities, serving shared interests and supporting the sustainable growth and development of the civil aviation sector, while strengthening Kuwait’s presence in specialized international forums and events.
