The Saudi Press Agency reported that this stance came following a Cabinet session chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.

Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari stated in a press release that the Cabinet, after reviewing recent developments and events in the region, condemned the Houthi militia’s heinous aggression against civilian and economic assets in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran. The militia continued its targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea and its interference with international maritime navigation freedom.

The Cabinet directed that the highest levels of medical care and attention be provided to those injured in these terrorist attacks, praying to Almighty Allah for their swift recovery and for the continued security and stability of the Kingdom.

The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom’s support for joint Arab efforts to halt Israeli violations and attacks on the city of Jerusalem and occupied territories, and to counter blatant measures in Palestine, expansionist policies, settlement activities, and displacement operations that violate all international laws.

On another note, the Cabinet commended the achievements of the international technical conference “LEAP 2026,” which saw the launch of initiatives, agreements, and investments totaling nearly $15 billion in areas such as artificial intelligence infrastructure, data centers, cloud computing, technological manufacturing, venture capital, and national capacity building. This reinforced the Kingdom’s leadership as a global destination for innovation and future-making.
