Minister of Youth and Sports: Providing all means of support to 'Al-Azraq' ahead of the Gulf Cup

Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, stressed today, Tuesday, the importance of providing all forms of support to the national first team, contributing to achieving the highest levels of readiness ahead of participation in the Gulf Cup of Nations.
Minister Al-Jalahma said in a press statement after visiting the first team’s training sessions that the state seeks to create a suitable environment for the players and the technical and administrative staff, enabling them to deliver a level of performance befitting the history of Kuwaiti football and its status at this important Gulf tournament.

He clarified that his visit to the training sessions comes within the framework of keenness to support the “Blue” team players and stand by them during the preparation phase for the Arab Gulf Cup.
He added that the national team players are aware of the magnitude of the responsibility resting on their shoulders, and of the great significance that participation in the Gulf Cup holds for the Kuwaiti public. He expressed confidence in the players’ capabilities and their determination to exert their utmost efforts and represent the State of Kuwait in a distinguished manner, achieving results that meet the public’s aspirations.
He praised the efforts made by the technical and administrative staff of the national team during the preparation period, affirming that support for sports and national teams will remain a priority, and that work will continue in cooperation with relevant sports authorities to provide everything that would support Kuwaiti athletes and elevate the name of the State of Kuwait at various regional and international forums.
