Standing Committee for Celebrations Discusses Early Preparations for Holidays and National Occasions

The Standing Committee for Celebrating National Holidays and Occasions held its meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by the Committee’s Chairman, Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs and Acting Minister of Media and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, with the attendance of the Chairperson of the Volunteer Work Center, Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and representatives from several relevant government entities.

In a press statement issued today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Media said that the meeting discussed several agenda items related to the committee’s working mechanism, early preparations for celebrating national holidays, and organizing events and occasions. It also reviewed enhancing coordination and cooperation among the concerned government entities.
