'Al Hamra' surpassed and was referred to the Traffic Department
Traffic police officers referred a violator to the Traffic Directorate for running a red light, impounding his vehicle and taking the necessary legal measures against him.
According to a security source, traffic police officers, as part of their continuous and coordinated efforts across all governorates, managed to apprehend the violator after he ran a red light in his vehicle, and the appropriate legal procedures were initiated against him.
The source clarified that the fine for running a red light under a settlement order amounts to 150 dinars, while if the case is referred to court, the law prescribes a prison sentence of one to three years and a fine of 600 to 1,000 dinars, or one of these two penalties.
