U.S. State Department: Our campaign to cut off the financial lifeline of the Iranian regime continues

The U.S. Department of State confirmed on Tuesday that the Washington-led campaign against Iran is ongoing, aiming to cut off the financial lifeline of the Iranian regime as part of efforts to intensify economic pressure on Tehran.

The U.S. State Department stated that the “economic pariah” operation targets disrupting Iran’s aviation sector and limiting its ability to access resources and services that support its activities.

Earlier on Tuesday, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions related to Iran, targeting 36 entities supporting Iran’s aviation sector, including companies, front organizations, intermediaries, and networks used to acquire American-origin aircraft and technology.

The Treasury said the measures are part of the “economic pariah” operation aimed at cutting off the economic and financial channels used by the Iranian regime and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
