Crown Prince Receives Acting Prime Minister and Officials Behind the Disruption of the Largest 'Larika' Manufacturing and Distribution Operation

His Highness commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in combating drugs and safeguarding the security of the nation and its citizens.

The Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, received today the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, who was accompanied by Brigadier General Mohammed Mustafa Ali Qabazard, Director General of the General Administration for Combating Narcotics, Brigadier General Sheikh Hamad Mohammed Yousef Al-Sabah, Assistant Director General of the General Administration for Combating Narcotics, and several officers from the General Administration for Combating Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior, who were involved in thwarting the largest operation to manufacture and distribute the psychoactive substance “Larica.”

During the meeting, His Highness emphasized the necessity of implementing the high directives of His Highness the Amir of the Country, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to preserve security and stability in the country. He praised the security role and the sincere efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior and its personnel in combating drug trafficking and protecting the nation and its citizens from the spread of this scourge, wishing them continued success and prosperity.
