Jordan condemns Houthi militia's targeting of civilian and economic assets in Saudi Arabia

Jordan today condemned the Houthi militia’s targeting of civilian and economic assets in the Saudi Arabian cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, which resulted in injuries to several civilians. It also condemned the militia’s continued attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea, describing these actions as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a gross breach of international law and the UN Charter, as well as a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation.

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, reaffirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for the Kingdom in all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, assets, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
