Al-Alemi: Yemeni forces continue to restore state institutions and extend their authority across the entire country

- The Houthi militias have chosen the path of escalation and must bear the consequences

The Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, affirmed on Monday that the armed forces are continuing to fulfill their constitutional duty until all state institutions are fully restored, stressing that the state is maintaining its authority over all Yemeni territories.

Al-Alimi praised the victories achieved by the armed forces in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda’, Taiz, and Hodeidah, emphasizing that the forces have demonstrated their capacity for deterrence and regained the initiative.

He commended the active role of the air force and drone aviation in supporting ground troops, noting that the Houthi militias have chosen the path of escalation and must bear the consequences.

Al-Alimi stressed that Yemen will not be allowed to be transformed into a platform for threatening maritime waterways.
