Ahmed Al-Jarallah, Editor-in-Chief of "Al-Siyasa" and "Arab Times" newspapers, visited Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, accompanied by Ahmed Al-Aqab and colleague Mohammed Al-Farhan.
The meeting discussed a number of service-related issues and the ongoing efforts to complete them, as well as the role of media in keeping pace with these initiatives and highlighting them, in a manner that meets citizens’ aspirations and their desire to see service projects completed in the best possible form.
The Governor emphasized his commitment to continuous and direct follow-up of all governorate affairs and the needs of its districts, and his constant communication with relevant authorities to identify various requirements and observations and work on addressing them, thereby contributing to improving service levels and fulfilling citizens’ aspirations.
The Capital Governor commended the responsiveness of relevant government bodies to the governorate’s requirements, particularly the cooperation and understanding shown by officials regarding the observations and needs presented by the governorate, and their keenness to address them promptly within available capacities.
He noted that security and traffic files are at the forefront of topics receiving continuous follow-up and coordination, through meetings and communication with relevant security and traffic leadership and authorities, with the aim of enhancing security and safety, addressing traffic observations, and improving traffic flow in various areas of the governorate.
Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali stressed the importance of fieldwork and direct communication with relevant authorities, affirming that cooperation and coordination among different state institutions constitute a crucial foundation for accelerating the resolution of service issues and elevating the level of services provided in the Capital Governorate.
For his part, Colonel Al-Jarallah praised the Capital Governor’s efforts and his dedication to following up on issues of concern to citizens, emphasizing the importance of maintaining ongoing communication between officials and the media, which helps convey societal needs and highlight the efforts made by official bodies to serve citizens.
Al-Jarallah underscored the vital role of media in highlighting local issues and keeping pace with service and development files, thereby strengthening communication between state institutions and society and supporting efforts aimed at improving services.
